- crippled
- retarded
- “ghetto” in reference to things that are shoddy/bad/unseemly
it’s okayif…that’s fine, i don’t mind that you changed it to be more straightforward, but i think the part about “not be rewarded with cookies” is not on par with “appreciated”
my brother is developmentally disabled and i DO very much appreciate when people choose not to use words they used casually in the past, when they realize their language is hurtful in the present
i chose to tell people that i appreciate them changing their behavior and i don’t think that is wrong of me :[
